GARBC Messengers Approve Three Resolutions

ELYRIA, Ohio—In order to emphasize the importance of vibrant resolutions addressing the needs of GARBC churches, the three members of the GARBC resolutions committee partnered with three young pastors in the association to draft the resolutions. The resolutions were written in a new “plain English” format to emphasize their teaching value to the GARBC congregations.

• “Resolution on Prayer for Government Leaders” written by Dr. Bryan Augsburger, pastor of First Baptist Church, Arlington Heights, Ill., and Rev. Eric Puff, associate pastor of Northfield Baptist Church, Northfield, Ohio.
• “Resolution on Gospel-Centered Revitalization” written by Rev. Stan Lightfoot, pastor of Rustic Hills Baptist Church, Colorado Springs, Col., and Rev. Will Hatfield, pastor of Campus Baptist Church, Ames, Iowa.
• “Resolution on the Scriptures Plainly Understood” written by Dr. John Hartog III, pastor of Faith Baptist Church, Cambridge, Iowa, and Rev. Aaron Hand, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Walnut, Iowa.
